A Place Where Families Belong

Located at 463 Burwood Highway in Vermont South, Beacon Street has been part of the local community since 2007.

For many families, Beacon Street becomes more than an early learning centre. It becomes a familiar place where children build friendships, educators become trusted faces and families become part of a wider community.

A Long-Standing Part of Vermont South

Beacon Street is conveniently located on Burwood Highway, close to the Springvale Road intersection and just one street from Livingstone Primary School.

Over the years, hundreds of children and families have passed through our doors, creating strong connections within the local community.

Our educators take the time to know each child, understand their interests and respond to their individual needs.

From the first day of orientation through to the transition to school, we work with families to help children feel comfortable, confident and connected.

Connecting With Our Community

Children at Beacon Street have opportunities to explore their local community through excursions and community experiences.

The centre has also developed a long-standing connection with Livingstone Gardens Aged Care, providing opportunities for children and residents to share experiences and build intergenerational connections.

OLIVIA
Centre Director

Olivia is a proud mum of two boys, who both attend the centre. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel a strong sense of belonging.
Having worked across many areas of the service, she values strong relationship with children, families and educators. She is committed to high -quality early childhood education, she values open communication, reflective practice and continuous improvement to ensure the best outcomes for the children and families at Beacon Street.

Centre Director and Kindergarten Teacher

Eli has a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and is registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. He is very passionate in his job, caring for each single child and teaching them a wide range of life skills and academic skills. He is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
