Three-Year-Old Kinder

Building confidence, curiosity and early learning skills through play

Three-year-old children are ready for new challenges and increasing opportunities to participate in more structured experiences. At Pinnacle, these experiences are delivered through play, exploration and meaningful interactions rather than formal instruction.

Early literacy begins with familiar and meaningful experiences. Children explore their own names, recognise letters, begin to develop early writing skills and learn about how books and print work. They discover that books have titles, authors and illustrations and begin to understand how written language works.

Early numeracy is introduced through practical experiences. Children explore numbers, counting, sorting, comparing quantities, patterns and other mathematical ideas through play and everyday activities.

Social and emotional learning remains equally important. Children practise joining groups, expressing their ideas, attempting unfamiliar experiences, resolving disagreements and caring for people and materials around them.

Our educators encourage children to make choices, express their opinions and develop the confidence to try something new.
