At Pinnacle ELC Beacon St, our educators are an important part of what makes our centre a welcoming place for children and families. Many of our team members build their careers alongside the centre, developing their skills and taking on new responsibilities as they grow.

One of those educators is Olivia, one of our Nominated Supervisors at Beacon St.

Olivia’s Journey at Beacon St

Olivia has been part of the Pinnacle ELC Beacon St community for around five years.

Her journey began at the centre as a student. From there, she progressed into a Room Leader role before taking on her current position as a Nominated Supervisor, working alongside Eli.

Her journey is a wonderful example of how experience, learning and dedication can shape a career in early childhood education.

Over the years, Olivia has developed strong connections with the children, families and educators at Beacon St. Today, she continues to contribute to the centre while supporting the team in her role as Nominated Supervisor.

More Than Just a Workplace

For Olivia, Beacon St has become much more than somewhere she comes to work each day.

She describes the centre as an extended part of her family and values the welcoming atmosphere that has developed among the educators and the wider community.

Working alongside a supportive team is something Olivia particularly enjoys. She appreciates having great educators around her and being part of a team that cares about creating positive experiences for children and families.

Welcoming Every Family

One of the things Olivia believes Beacon St does particularly well is welcoming everyone into the community.

Families come from different cultures, backgrounds and experiences, and Olivia values the opportunity to create a place where everyone can feel welcome and included.

At Beacon St, families are encouraged to become part of the centre community and share their own experiences and cultures.

For children, growing up in a diverse community can provide opportunities to learn about different people, traditions and perspectives through everyday interactions.

Building a Sense of Community

A strong early learning community is about more than the educators and children who attend each day. Families are also an important part of the centre.

Olivia's experience at Beacon St reflects the importance of building relationships with families and creating an environment where people feel comfortable being part of the community.

Whether it's a conversation at drop-off, participating in a centre activity or simply getting to know the educators, these everyday connections help create a sense of belonging.

Growing Together at Pinnacle ELC Beacon St

From starting as a student to becoming a Nominated Supervisor, Olivia has experienced several stages of her professional journey at Beacon St.

Her story reflects the opportunities that can come from growing within an early learning environment and being part of a supportive team.

We're grateful to have Olivia as part of the Pinnacle ELC Beacon St team and for the experience, care and welcoming spirit she brings to the centre each day.
